HP 305 - Structure and Theory: Worksite Wellness and Health Promotion Credits: 3
This course provides the students with knowledge about health and wellness concepts and strategies to implement them in the workplace. Theoretical models will be the basis used to explore why individuals choose healthy or unhealthy behaviors and what motivates them to change their choices. Effective assessment techniques for the individual and organization will be presented. Utilization of the assessment data to develop an effective health promotion plan will be studied. Prerequisite(s): HP 211 .
