BIOL 341 - Mycology

Comparative study of the major groups of fungi. Survey will include morphological, ecological, and taxonomic aspects of plant parasitic, mycorrhizal, human pathogenic, and saprophytic fungi. Laboratory work will include local field trips, specimen identification, and experience in culturing various types of fungi. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 151 or consent of instructor.
