ENGR 365 - Modeling Dynamic Systems
Introduction to unified approach to lumped-element modeling and analysis of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and mechatronic systems. Topics include graphical modeling using band graphs; formulation of stale-space equations; analysis of linear systems; determination of time and frequency domain response of such systems to transient and periodic inputs, block diagram representation of dynamic system using LaPlace Transforms; and integration into feedback control systems. Prerequisite(s): ENGR 255 , ENGR 275 , and MATH 366 . Lecture-Lab (ex: 3-1 means 3 hrs lecture and 1 hr lab): Three hours lecture.
