Practice evaluation refers to research strategies and designs used by social workers to assess the impact and effectiveness of social work interventions. The course prepares the social work practitioner for the systematic evaluation of direct services and treatment interventions. Specifically the course examines the theoretical and practical applications of outcome and process research. It also examines the use of qualitative and single system research designs in the context of the advanced clinical concentration curriculum. Prerequisite(s): SOCW 507 .
