IM 621 - Human Factors in Design

Study of the methods for designing the interface between humans and machines. Emphasizes the use of anthropometrical data and consideration of environmental factors for designing improvements of industrial and office workspace. Prerequisite(s): graduate standing or consent of instructor. Lecture-Lab (ex: 3-1 means 3 hrs lecture and 1 hr lab): Three hours lecture.
