SPTM 482 - NCAA Compliance and Institutional Control Credits: 3
This course introduces students to the bylaws that govern institutions affiliated with the NCAA including Division I, II,m and III athletic programs. Students will gain detailed knowledge of both governing principles and enforcement procedures. This course will offer a more specialized look into the inner workings of intercollegiate athletics operations. Furthermore, this course is necessary for anyone who wants to work within an athletic department whether it be in compliance, public relations, academic affairs, marketing or management.
