POLS 385 - Western European Politics Credits: 3
The course provides an introduction to Western European politics and government. Students will learn about the various political, economic, and social structures of several Western European countries, such as Britain, France, and Germany. Topics include parliamentary systems, political parties, economic policy, the welfare state, local government, political culture, and European integration. Prerequisite(s): one prior course in political science or consent of instructor.
