EDUC 242 - Growth and Development: Early Childhood Credits: 3
Examines the development of the early years and the ways to assess development in the growth domains. Examines the importance of observation and documentation, compares assessment instruments, and examines appropriateness of each tool. Guided field experience required.
Prerequisite(s): Demonstrated proficiency in critical reading, writing and mathematics. Indiana or national standards and benchmarks will be followed. Current requirements include a score of 220 on each part of the Core Academic Skills Assessment (CASA) OR qualifying ACT, SAT, GRE scores. Overall GPA of 2.75 or higher.
Prereq (may be taken concurrently): EDUC 221
