GEOL 311 - Concepts in Environmental Science

I Interdisciplinary science course provides students with a synthetic view of the Earth’s atmosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere, and biosphere systems.  Topics include interactions of the atmosphere-ocean system, the hydrologic cycle, climate change, and applications of basic environmental principles to human induced problems.  Intended for environmental science students, but also open to other students who are prepared and interested in the application of foundational environmental science concepts.

Prerequisite(s): CHEM 261 , BIOL 215 , or GEOL 261  

Lecture-Lab (ex: 3-1 means 3 hrs lecture and 1 hr lab): (2-3).
