An introduction to Computer information systems and their applications in the fulfillment of business needs. Fundamental concepts of information are explained and integrated into organizational structures. Relevant technologies are introduced and basic skills on their use are developed. Techniques for information analysis and the creation of business intelligence are introduced and practiced. Information as an organizational resource is studied and practically applied.
