Food and Nutrition


The food and nutrition degree is designed to prepare graduates for entry into community food and nutrition-related careers including health care, business, and industry. The major provides a broad coverage of the interpersonal, conceptual, analytical, and application skills necessary to perform in the food and nutrition-related field. Three program options are available: dietetics, nutrition and wellness, or food service management. A minor in nutrition also is offered.
