College of Liberal Arts  >> Political Science, Public Administration, and Philosophy

18 hours; 2.0 minor GPA required

The Religious Studies minor is an interdisciplinary minor, including courses from disciplines such as philosophy, political science, history, economics, English, and art history. The minor prepares students to think critically about how religion can influence social policy and law, to compare world religions and their religious texts, and to understand the philosophical and ethical problems of various religious world views.

The minor is an excellent complement to any major and can enhance career opportunities in such areas as ministry, history, journalism, philosophy, law, psychology, social work, world languages, sociology, and international business.
