The Health Administration minor provides students with foundational knowledge and skills to work in healthcare administration in both acute and post-acute settings. The minor is a useful add-on to majors a variety of disciplines across the university in addition to students in other Nursing and Health Professions disciplines.
Students earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration are not eligible to earn the Health Administration minor.
The Health Administration minor is open to students seeking a major of Community and Public Health or Health Informatics and Information Management, provided that 6 unique elective hours are earned.
A grade of C or better is required in all courses.
