The USI Campus Store is located on the first level of the University Center West. Store hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (times subject to change without notice).
You can confirm your Spring Archie’s Book Bundles beginning 30 days before the start of class! For more information, please visit: https://www.usi.edu/campus-store/archies-book-bundle.
Students may return new or used texts for a refund during the first five (5) days of the semester. After that time, refunds will be granted only in the case of dropped classes. Eagle Access Card Office
The University uses the Eagle Access Card as the identification (ID) card for students, staff, and faculty. In addition to being the ID card, the Eagle Access Card is a convenient, easy, and safe way to access products and services without carrying cash. By activating the declining balance feature of the card, you make your ID card a campus debit card as well.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
USI recognizes the role mental health plays in students’ readiness, ability to learn, and success in college. To meet this need, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) has a unique mission to provide mental health services to USI students.
CAPS offers individual therapy, group therapy and substance abuse assessments to currently enrolled students. Our website, www.usi.edu/counseling-and-psychological-services, includes information and resources for general mental health, substance abuse, college transition, sexual assault prevention, cultural ethnic diversity, as well as LGBTQ and Veteran support. On the website, there is a direct link to TalkCampus which is a 24-hour peer support social media platform where USI students can receive support from other college students across the country and around the world. Additionally, the CAPS webite includes links to TimelyCare, a third-party contractor partnered with CAPS in which any USI student (regardless of location in the country) can receive telehealth counseling, health coaching, or 24/7 mental health coaching.
CAPS staff promote mental health awareness and advocacy by providing consultation, presentations, and workshops to the USI community. All services are supported by tuition and student fees. Students are not required to pay extra to access counseling services. The only exception may be for students found responsible for certain violations of the Code of Student Behavior where there may be an additional administrative fee for a Substance Use Assessment. Except in very limited circumstances, all information shared with CAPS staff is kept private and confidential. In some situations when students have needs that are beyond the role and/or scope of services available, CAPS staff can assist with the referral process.
We encourage everyone to utilize CAPS. To schedule an appointment, students can come in-person to the CAPS office (Orr Center, Room 1051), call (812) 464-1867, or schedule directly online through the website. For general questions, we can also be contacted via our email at usi.caps@usi.edu or through the online chat included on our website. Students can also call the USI Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at 812-464-1867 or utilize online services available on their website, including the TimelyCare app, offering 24/7 virtual care, self-care and well-being tools which can be found at app.timelycare.com/.

Service Learning Program
Service-Learning is a course-based experiential learning strategy. It engages students in meaningful and relevant service with a community organization while using ongoing reflection to draw connections between the service and course content. Service-Learning provides students with the opportunity to apply classroom learning to real-life situations, enhances academic learning and promotes civic responsiveness.
The Service Learning Program works with USI’s colleges, departments, and other programs to support these projects and ensure that the experiences benefit both students and the community.
The list of Service Learning courses offered each semester will continue to grow throughout the registration period as instructors integrate community projects in their courses. Visit www.usi.edu/outreach/service-learning for more information, including a current list of courses, or email servicelearning@usi.edu.
