SOCW 343 - Social Work Practice with Micro Systems II Credits: 3
The purpose of this course is to train student social workers in group methods used in generalist social work practice situations. The types of social group work, the history of group work, and skills needed to be an effective group leader are presented. Students also are exposed to group work with both diverse groups and/or populations at risk. Open to social work majors only.
