EDUC 242 - Explorations in Early Childhood Education: Growth and Development Credits: 3
Examines the development of the early years and the ways to assess development in the growth domains. Examines the importance of observation and documentation, compares assessment instruments, and examines appropriateness of each tool. Guided field experience required.
Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in EDUC 221 (may be taken concurrently). Sophomore Status. Overall GPA of 2.75 or higher. Acceptable Background Checks as specified in the USI Educator Preparation Background Check Policy.
