ACCT 461 - Investment Accounting Operations, Regulations, and Compliance

This course will explore accounting disclosure rules, regulatory, and compliance issues associated with alternative investments, such as investments in hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate, and commodities, either directly or through funds of funds. The course will focus on operational aspects of alternative investments, emphasizing practical applications and providing opportunities for “hands-on” experiences.
