MATH 388 - Mathematical Learners and Learning Credits: 3
This course prepares secondary mathematics teachers to engage with mathematical learners and use best practices for teaching mathematics. The course will address using students’ individual and group differences to plan for instruction, creating equitable learning environments, and promoting the development of positive mathematical identities within students.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 291 , MATH 323 (may be taken concurrently), and EDUC 283 ; Formal admission to Teacher Education is required prior to registration.
