NRSG 643 - Primary Care Across the Lifespan I

This course prepares students to assess, diagnose, and manage the health needs of individuals across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics, within the primary care setting. Emphasizing advanced clinical reasoning, diagnostic interpretation, and therapeutic interventions, students will develop competencies in health promotion, disease prevention, and the management of acute and chronic conditions commonly encountered in family practice. Through evidence-based practice, students will integrate developmental considerations, cultural competence, and interprofessional collaboration to optimize patient outcomes in diverse primary care environments.

Prerequisite(s): NRSG 623 (Grade of B or better) and NRSG 641 (Grade of B or better)
