ART 498 - Internship in Art


Credits: 3

A course to complement classroom and studio experience by providing professional work situations with an employer. The course requires a minimum of 150 hours of supervised professional work, two written evaluations by the supervisor, two onsite visits by a University official, maintenance of a portfolio of completed work, and periodic interviews with an art faculty member. Open to juniors and seniors. Prereq: approval of Art Department chairperson. Grades will be assigned as Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory only.
