ENG 101 - Rhetoric and Composition I: Literacy and the Self

Credits: 3

A course in the critical arts of reading, writing, reflection, and discussion, with an introduction to rhetoric and informal logic. Meets University Core Curriculum Goal A1: Composition/Speech and A3 Critical Thinking. Prereq: ENG 100  or appropriate placement based on SAT Critical Reading and Writing Scores (or ACT equivalents), high school rank percentile, and English Department placement essay.
