SOC 415 - Sociology of the Environment


Credits: 3

A sociological approach to understanding the interaction of society and the natural environment. It focuses on social causes and consequences of environmental problems and mitigating actions taken toward them. It also addresses inequality in the distribution of environmental problems. Several specific cases are studied in detail. Prereq: six hours of sociology or consent of instructor.
