This is an introductory-level course to one of the three major subdisciplines in anthropology, cultural anthropology. The course will be devoted to the global, cross-cultural study of all aspects of human culture. Topics covered include technology, political economy, social organization, kinship, gender, religion, war, ethnicity, and cultural change in the modern world.
