DTHY 441 - Dental Hygiene Theory III

Credits: 4

This course addresses the care and clinical management of special needs clients who present with conditions/diseases of significance to dental hygiene care. Included is discussion of the pathophysiology, etiology, psychosocial, physical, and oral characteristics, potential emergencies, and the related dental hygiene process of care associated with these conditions/diseases.
