PH 492 - Chronic Disease Credits: 3
This course covers the major non-infectious, chronic diseases of health concern in the United States. Emphasis is on risk factors, determinants, and preventive strategies. Coverage includes the diseases of the heart and circulation; the major types of cancers; the chronic respiratory, neurological and musculoskeletal diseases; diabetes; and selected occupational diseases, accidents, and injuries. Prereq: PH 384 .
