BIOL 114 - Understanding Evolution

This course is a survey of evolutionary thought from its beginnings as an explanation for diversity to its acceptance and application by biologists. Contemporary controversies will be discussed in their scientific and sociological contexts. Prereq: No prereq. Does not apply toward a major or minor in biology. (3-2)
