ENGR 107 - Introduction to Engineering


Credits: 3

This course introduces students to a systematic, engineering problem-solving method. Problems have been selected to preview many of the engineering courses that the students will take as sophomores, including statics and electrical circuits. A large portion of this course is dedicated to formulating problems for computer solutions using methods such as flowcharting that can be applied to any programming language. Additionally, students learn computer programming using VISUAL BASIC and MATLAB. Co-Req: MATH 230  or consent of instructor. (0-6)
