ENGR 311 - Operations Research


Credits: 3

This course will include linear programming, model formulation, the simplex method, duality, sensitivity analysis and transportation/assignment model application. Other topics of study will be integer programming and the branch-and-bound method, which will lead to dynamic (recursive) programming. The course will conclude with network modeling, and decision analysis under uncertainty and risk. Prereq: Junior standing in Engineering. (3-0)
