ENGR 365 - Modeling Dynamic Systems

Credits: 3

Introduction to unified approach to lumped-element modeling and analysis of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and mechatronic systems. Topics include graphical modeling using band graphs; formulation of stale-space equations; analysis of linear systems; determination of time and frequency domain response of such systems to transient and periodic inputs, block diagram representation of dynamic system using LaPlace Transforms; and integration into feedback control systems. Prereq: ENGR 255 , ENGR 275 , and MATH 433 . Three hours lecture.
