EDUC 221 - Diversity and Equity in Education

Credits: 3

The purpose of this course is to explore the theory and knowledge base that supports multicultural education and an awareness of diversity within American society. Topics may include the critical study of issues as they relate to race and ethnicity, exceptionality, language and dialect, religion, gender, and age. Prereq: Grade of C or higher in ENG 101 .
